What options do I have when connecting to the processing center?

When setting up a connection with PayOnline System you can choose between two connection options that will benefit the customers of your online store.

Secure payment page PayOnline System

When making a payment using a credit card, your e-store customer will be redirected to the secure payment page, hosted on the PayOnline System server. The client enters their personal information on the PayOnline payment page, and after the payment is successfully authorized, returns to your online store. This type of connection is the easiest to use, as the online store owner doesn’t have to apply for special certification and be tested for compliance with the mandatory safety requirements for transaction processing. All the complex software and hardware resources are already in place on the PayOnline System server.

Direct connection (Gateway Connection) with a secure gateway to PayOnline System

With this type of connection, the e-store hosts its own payment page where the customer enters his private data and card details (with the payment page being the technical solution). This means that personal information about customers, including bank card information, will be requested by the online store. To work with this type of connection, the store needs to fulfill the following mandatory requirements:

  • Ensure the protection of bank card transactions using an SSL-certificate (HTTPS page). This is generally a requirement for making Internet transactions.
  • The online store must have a PCI DSS standard (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard certificate of compliance. This is the standard for information protection in the credit card industry. The certificate is a mandatory requirement for an e-store that processes and stores card holder information. The PCI DSS standard was created for major payment associations to improve the secure storage of data on card holders and their owners, and to combat fraud.
